June Week 4: Easy Review Activities

Hey there teachers!

Check out these fun activities to spice up your lesson review with your mini Spanish geniuses! Choose from the options provided below to suit your vibe. Short on time? No worries! Just by showing the digital lesson you will still be rockin' that Spanish teacher status!

1. On the playground: 15 Minutes

🎵 Let’s go to the park! 🎵
Play the audio for “At the Park” and let the fun begin!
Then start the slideshow and show the kids all the cool playground equipment—or you can print the visuals and show them instead of the slideshow. You'll practice how to say; slides, swings, monkey bars and more! 🛝🌳

Encourage your kiddos to shout out what they hear and see, act it out, or even pretend they’re playing right along! 🙌🎠

Next time you’re at the playground or park with your kids, turn it into a Spanish adventure! 🎉
Call out a word like “¡El tobogán!” and see if they can race to touch the slide! 🛝 Then try it with the other words you’re learning—“los columpios,” “el subibaja,” “el pasamanos”—it’s an exciting way to reinforce vocabulary on the go! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💨

You can also play a game of charades! Take turns pretending to play on a piece of playground equipment while everyone else guesses the word in Spanish. Kids LOVE this game—it’s silly, active, and they’ll be learning without even realizing it! 🎭🇪🇸

2. Coloring Sheet: 10 Minutes

🎨 Download the Park Coloring Sheet! 🖍️and print enough copies for your whole class—your kids are going to love this! Invite them to draw themselves and their friends having fun at the park—swinging, sliding, climbing, and more! 🛝👫☀️. Then, have them copy the Spanish words on the lines to label their masterpieces. It’s a creative (and sneaky!) way to reinforce new vocabulary. ¡Vamos al parque! 🎉✏️
