Hello Teachers, Directors, Principals,
My name is Theresa Gunderson. I'm also known as "Señora Theresa". Some parents have compared me to "Dora the Explorer" because of how I captivate children's attention when teaching Spanish. I'm so excited to be your student's Spanish teacher through our Virtual Spanish Membership Site! I'm pictured above with one of my Spanish-speaking puppets, Oso.

If you've never studied Spanish before don't worry. Simply show your students the Spanish Video Lesson for each week. If you watch the Videos with your students, you'll get to learn Spanish too!
In the Membership Site you'll see several buttons that you can click on to be taken to the Spanish Video Lessons, the Parent Newsletters and Review the Basics. We add a new Video Lesson every week. You'll have access to the Spanish Video Lessons for the current month and the past month.
Your students can watch the Spanish Video Lessons on a desktop, laptop, tablet, TV, of phone. Each lesson is approximately 30 minutes long. You can show them an entire lesson in one sitting or parts of a lesson over the course of a day or a week. We include the exact times for each activity within the lessons to make it easy for you to pick and choose what your students will watch.

Parent Newsletters
We want to make sure that parents are impressed with all of the Spanish their children will be learning through our Virtual Spanish Membership Site. In the Membership Site you'll see a button that leads to the current and upcoming monthly Parent Newsletter. Click on the button to open the newsletter. Then copy the URL or link at the top of the newsletter and paste it into the body of an email that you send to all of your families. Let them know that your monthly newsletters provide them with the tools to practice Spanish at home if they'd like to!
Children enjoy watching the same lessons over and over. They LOVE repeating what they are familiar with and "showing off" what they've learned. For this reason, show your students the same lesson several times.
Remember, if you'd like to learn or brush up on Spanish, you can watch the video lessons with your students.
If you'd like to help your students learn more Spanish, you can. After every video lesson we provide suggestions for how you can review Spanish with your students.Try to schedule time every week to review and practice Spanish as a class!
