After your students learn the rules in Spanish, print out the poster to the right and display it in your classroom. Warm-up with the rules in Spanish everyday and soon you and your students will have the rules in Spanish memorized! Challenge yourself and your students to say the rules in Spanish INSTEAD OF English!
|
Week 2: Review "What is your name?"
After your students learn to ask and tell their name in Spanish by watching the Virtual lesson above, play the audio file. The audio file is a song that repeats the question; "¿Cómo te llamas? There is a pause after each time the question is asked, giving the children time to respond with "Me llama + their name."
To make this activity more dramatic, tap the kids on the head with a "special wand" or toss them a ball indicating that it is their return to respond with their name. If the audio file ends before every student has a turn to say "Me llamo + their name", play it a second time. If you have a small class, give kids a second turn to respond during the pauses. |
Here is another poster with how to ask and say your name. You can download it and display it in your classroom.
