Get ready to spread positivity and excitement in your classroom with the compliment activity! After your students watch the digital lesson and learn all about giving compliments in Spanish, it's time to keep the energy going! Print out the colorful poster below and proudly display it in your classroom—it’s a fun and vibrant reminder for everyone to keep those compliments flowing in Spanish! Press play on the audio file and sing the compliments aloud as a class-the ideal tool to get everyone energized and speaking Spanish!

3. balloon tap game: 15 minutes
Materials Needed: A balloon
Looking for a fun and interactive way to engage your students in learning Spanish? Try our Balloon Tap Game, a class favorite that kids of all ages love! It’s so easy, you can do it too! Here’s how:
1. **Choose a student** who is sitting nicely to take a turn.
2. Have them **stand up in an open area** while the rest of the class remains seated.
3. Hand the student a balloon for a **practice tap**—encourage them to tap it back gently. When they do, shower them with praise! Let them know they’re ready for the game.
4. Now, it’s time to play! **Tap the balloon** to the student and say "uno" while they tap it back and say "dos." Continue back and forth with the class counting in Spanish all the way to ten!
5. After the student’s turn, let them pass the magic by choosing the next student. They can tap the chosen student on the head with a magic wand or simply call out their name.
You can adapt this game to practice counting in Spanish with numbers 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, and beyond! It’s a perfect way to combine movement, fun, and learning in one simple activity. Try it with your students, and watch them light up with excitement!

Watch how one of our teachers plays it with her preschoolers—it’s so easy, you can do it too!
The first student catches the balloon and tosses it back. However, if you help your students "tap" the balloon, they can do it as the second student does :-)

Why? Because success doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Your wins are our wins, and they’re proof for others that when you do the work, you get results.
Whether your students are finally beginning to repeat or sing in Spanish along with the digital lessons, or say words in Spanish during the day, or teachers are feeling more confident carrying out the Easy Review Activities, or parents are sharing that their child is speaking Spanish at home — we want to hear your wins BIG and small!
Celebrating you always,
Theresa & Team HOLA
