Week 1: EASY Review ACTIVITIES
1. REVIEW Compliments: (5 minutes)
To encourage a positive classroom environment in Spanish, say these Spanish compliments to each other. iListen and sing along with the audio file to practice saying the compliment words.
Download the poster and hang several copies around the classroom as a visual reminder to compliment each other in Spanish! |
2. REVIEW Halloween Vocabulary: (10 minutes)
Review Halloween vocabulary with your students. First download and print the Halloween pictures. Laminate them if you can. Next, play the audio file and hold up each picture when it is talked about on the audio file. Be sure to act surprised, anxious, and/or excited along with the groove of the audio file. I've also included the flashcards so for older students who are starting to read you can play a matching game with the pictures and the flashcards.

Share Your Wins!
Every time we get your WINS AND SUCCESSES in our inbox, we can’t help but do a little happy dance — to "Don't Stop Believing" or "La Bamba" of course! Why? Because success doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Your wins are our wins, and they’re proof for others that when you do the work, you get results.
Whether your students are finally beginning to repeat or sing in Spanish along with the online videos, or say random words in Spanish throughout the day, or teachers are feeling more confident carrying out the follow-up activities, or parents are sharing that their child is saying words in Spanish at home — we want to hear your wins BIG and small!
Celebrating you always,
Theresa & Team HOLA
