To help you practice Cinco de Mayo vocabulary, play the audio file and the slideshow. Practice repeating the words with Señora Theresa :-)

Practice having a  Piñata Party in Spanish! Play the audio file and practice the expressions in the green and white table. Before you know it you will be able to have a Piñata party all in Spanish! 

Days of the Week 
Los Días de la Semana

Play the audio file and say the days of the week as you point to the flashcards. 

Days of the Week: Game! 

Download and print the days of the week flashcards. Make flashcards of numbers 1-6. Lay the days and number flashcards on the floor as in the picture. Play the "Days of the Week" song.

​Take turns walking or hopping on the flashcards as you sing. (Clap when you hop on the numbers.) If you go faster or slower than the song, try again. Your goal is to sing and hop on the words at the exact same time!

At the end of the song, drop a treat in the "pot of gold" "la Olla de Oro". As a reward for playing the game and practicing Spanish, eat the treats that are in the "la Olla de Oro".

Play the audio file. Click on the pictures of the words as you practice them. (They are not in order so pay close attention :-) Be sure to say them out loud!  When you go outside try to find these things on the playground, in your yard or at the park and say them in Spanish!
