Numbers 1-10
Counting is one skill that toddlers and preschoolers develop quickly! Their ability to count easily transfers to a second language, in this case Spanish. Play the audio file below in which two children, Ellie and Teresa teach you how to count to 10 in Spanish. Point to the numbers as you repeat them with your child. In just a few minutes you will be able to count to ten in Spanish together!
Parents, If you've never studied Spanish before or if it's been a few years, we've got you covered!
All of our Spanish activities are designed for beginners.

How are you?
¿Cómo estás?
Everyday we ask our children and each other how we are doing. At the June Spanish Summer Camp your child will learn how to ask and say how they are doing in Spanish! Click on the pictures below to see the phrases and pronunciation. Next, play the audio file to hear how to pronounce the phrases in Spanish! In just a few minutes you and your child will be able to ask each other how you are doing in Spanish. Continue this everyday of the year...in Spanish, or course!
Colors
Children love to name colors in Spanish so we are sure to teach them colors in Spanish during our June Spanish Camp! Parents, you can practice the colors below at home. Play the slide show and use the pronunciation key on each flashcard to help you correctly pronounce the colors with your child! Have fun!
Months of the Year
As children learn the months of the year in English, they can easily learn them in Spanish too. The neat thing about months of the year is that they are "cognates". Cognates are words that are written and spoken similarly in two languages. All of the months of the year in Spanish (except for January (enero) are similar to English, making the month easy to learn.
Play the audio file. As you sing the months, point to the flashcards below. For extra help each flashcard includes a pronunciation key.
