1. EASY REVIEW ACTIVITY: SONG: B.I.N.G.O: 15 minutes
Materials Needed: Print the B.I.N.G.O. visuals with a letter on one side and and hands clapping on the other side. Laminate them if you can. You will also want to search for the song B.I.N.G.O. from the album José Anaya and Whistlefritz and stream it on Spotify or Apple Music.
This is a wonderful review activity after watching the digital lesson Part 1. Tell your students that they get to sing and clap to the tune B.I.N.G.O. that they practiced while watching the digital lesson. Show them the letters in B.I.N.G.O.'s name and reveal the clapping hands on the backside. Whether they're gathered in a circle on the floor or chilling at desks, get those letters laid out or taped up for a B.I.N.G.O. bonanza. (If taping the letters to the wall, put a piece of tape on the back of each letter because you will turn the letters over after each verse.)
Next, explain that after each verse you will turn a letter over and they must clap that letter for the rest of the song. After singing the song a couple of times, put students in charge of turning the letters over as the class sings and claps the song!
For extra help preparing your students to sing the song, play Spanish in July CD Track 4. As a grand finale, stream the song on Spotify or Itunes and clap your hearts out to the groovy tune! Let the musical magic begin!

2. COLORing sheet: 5 minutes
Download the coloring sheet of B.I.N.G.O the dog. Print enough copies for your classroom. Your kids will enjoy coloring B.I.N.G.O. and writing the words "el perro" and "BINGO" on the lines. Get the crayons or markers ready for this coloring extravaganza!
2. Game: ejercicios (Exercises): 10 minutes
For this fun game have everyone stand in a circle. Play the Spanish in July Track 7 audio file. The CD will teach you to “walk,” “raise and lower your hands,” and “run” in Spanish. Be sure to listen for the command “alto” (ahl-toh) which means stop and freeze your body! Freeze your body in a funny shape and encourage your students to do the same. Comment on how funny they freeze their bodies and the activity will take on a silly and creative dynamic.
After doing exercises with the audio file try doing them without it! You call out and repeat the commands and have students take turns calling out "alto” (ahl-toh). They will beg you for a turn to be the “alto” caller! Play "ejercicios" whenever you want your students to get up and move!

SHARE YOUR DSA STORY!
Every time we get your WINS AND SUCCESSES in our inbox, we can’t help but do a little happy dance — to "Don't Stop Believing" or "La Bamba" of course!
Why? Because success doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Your wins are our wins, and they’re proof for others that when you do the work, you get results.
Whether your students are finally beginning to repeat or sing in Spanish along with the digital lessons, or say words in Spanish during the day, or teachers are feeling more confident carrying out the Easy Review Activities, or parents are sharing that their child is speaking Spanish at home — we want to hear your wins BIG and small!
Celebrating you always,
Theresa & Team HOLA
