Step 1:

You don't need to speak Spanish to teach it. This video will do the heavy lifting for you!
Choose the approach that works best for your classroom:

Option A: Let the Video Lead
Play the video on a TV, Smartboard, tablet, or iPad. Your students will start by counting to 10 in English, then switch to counting in Spanish along with a song while following the visual cues.

Option B: Lead the Lesson Yourself
Skip the video and head straight to Step 2 below to start teaching directly.
Step 2:
Number Song
& Poster

Download the number poster and grab a fun pointer or wand.

Sing & Point: Play the Number Song and point to each number on the poster as you sing.

Pronunciation Made Easy: Read the phonetic guide under each number on the poster just like English—no Spanish experience needed!

Repeat: Play the song a few times and encourage students to sing along.

Fun Tip: Let students take turns being the helper, using the magic wand to point to the numbers while the class sings together!
