Employment OpportunitiesO'Neill Language Academy has occasional part time openings for language instructors in each of the languages we offer. Most of the openings occur in late summer and early fall. Some instructors prefer to teach only children, others prefer working with adults and some enjoy the variety of working with all ages. Although OLA provides paid teacher training, we do require that new instructors have some prior teaching experience whether teaching a language or in another field. We hire both native and non-native speakers. Those who have are not native speakers must have spent time studying or living abroad in a country where the target language is spoken. In order to work for OLA, instructors must either be a citizen of the USA or have permission to work. Instructors must also have a Minnesota Driver's License and a vehicle. OLA looks for professional and energetic individuals who have a passion for sharing their native language and culture or their second language with others. If you are kind and personable, enthusiastic, organized, punctual and responsible, and if like to have fun while working, this may be the ideal job for you!
